Author Neill McKee will be signing copies of Finding Myself in Borneo: Sojourns in Sabah. The book is McKee's account of his adventures in Sabah, Malaysia, as a young CUSO volunteer teaching secondary school during 1968 –70, CUSO field staff 1973–74, and his reflections on returning to Borneo years later. McKee lived and worked around the world for 45 years as a teacher, filmmaker, multi-media producer, writer, and program manager. My Proceeds of the tour will be donated to Cuso International (formerly CUSO). I am donating my own earnings for all in-store sales and orders, plus all on-line sales in Canada, to the organization that got me started in my 45-year international career. Since 1961, Cuso International has been working to reduce poverty and inequality through the efforts of volunteers, partners, and donors. Each year Cuso International mobilizes hundreds of professionals who volunteer side-by-side with local partners to create positive and lasting change.
